Coche, Consistant offshore wind,flat water,very relaxing and 3 all inclusive hotels are Very Close to the Kite Area!!!

The cheapest is brisas, simple food, 2 minutes further from the beach, but the rooms are ok and the pool is smaller than the other hotels.
Coche paradise is the original hotel with std & superior rooms with cable tv, wifi along with 2 pools to sit back and relax or have a work out in there gym. Situated 2 mins from the kite area.
Punta blanca is the newer of the three and offers comfortable rooms with big pool overlooking the kitearea.
Bahia de coche hotel has new stlye apartments and room only accom for the person looking for quality at a good price if you are 2 or more. They now offer a buffet selection for lunch and dinner.
There are also posadas in the town but then you will have to get a taxi to the beach each day Us$4 approx, return. Room for approx, 150.00 bolivars per night. In the town you also have several general stores, bakery,licor stores,farmacy,resturant,cyber cafe etc..
You can also stay on the beach in rooms for about the same but then you have a few problems eating at night due to you have to go to the hotels or the town.

Playa El Yaque,Margarita: Is more orientated towards windsurfing, boasting 3 world freestyle champions.
This beach offers a more gusty side shore wind with choppy water but on average 2/4 knots more than in coche, a very limited launch and preparation area in central El Yaque but Our Partner School Venturi Kite is positioned beach front at the new down wind kite area.
There are a wider selection of hotels,resturants and posadas most with internet or a cyber cafe in the center of the village. There is more night life in El Yaq or you can take a taxi just 45 mins to the capital (Porlomar) where you can find allmost everything.
