Getting to coche is easy, you fly to porlamar airport, then 10min taxi (approx 50bsf) to playa el yaque then next to the kids school, is the boat reservation dept that you take a ticket to coche for 35bsf per person one way. This is a 25min fast boat ride direct to the middle of the main beach in coche, were the kite center is situated just 2 mins walk from there..
if you take one of the all inclusive hotels then the transfer from the airport is possible included and the boat for sure is included!!

Questions asked by previous clients
- Season opening, working hours during each season,the school/center is open from november to the 1st of july 10/10.30am to 6pm. (we are open the rest of the year for pre reservation but the wind is not allways very good)
- Possibility of washing and drying of equipment (kites, bars, wetsuit/shorts etc), we have a portable shower but no area to wash kites!!! only clean.
- Bar/food at the station? yes we have a nice dry chillout area with bar, offering light snacks, private dinners and food for special events.
- Possibility of parties organisation? we have a simple but good sound system and possibilites for dj´s along with an unlimited amount of music…our speciality is relaxing chillout, lounge, chillhouse and house/dance music.
- Necessary level of experiance on a spot (beginner,inter,pro, etc…), great for all levels!
- For what sports are there training courses? kiteboarding, landboarding, buggying & wakeskate.
- Language of training? normally english and spanish but certain parts of the season french and russian.
- Equipment rent? kites from 7m to 14m + boards, accesories etc.
- Repair of equipment? tubes and small repairs along with kite repairs on margarita in el yaque.
- Compressor (for kite pumping), we have pumps for our clients to use for free and if we have a lot of clients or special groups then we have a compressor.
- Equipment storage place? we have 32 storage lockers and a special area when its big groups!
- First/medical aid? the instructors are iko first aid qualified and the hospital is only 5 mins from the station!
- Equipment shop? we have clothes,glasses,accesories, used kites and boards in coche and we can also offer kit from cabrinha, north, f-one, slingshot, liquid force and crazyfly for 2011.
- Internet? yes we have in the station and is approx $2 per hour (plug in for laptops or Wireless).
- Additional entertainment activities (volleyball playground, chess, etc…), we have a few games for our clients if the wind is light.
- Minimal and maximal number of participants for one group for lessons, max 3 students to instructor but prefer 2.
- Equipment brands that you use? cabrinha, flexifoil, crazyfly, dakine, headzone radio helmets and oceanglasses.
- Certificates? we give our school certificate to those who take over a 6 hr course, signed by iko qualified instructors.
- Have you or do you have pro going to coche? the pkra world tour has been 4 times to coche and has several pro´s training, passing through out the season.
- Features of a spot-resort? the hotels are very close, good winds for 6 to 8 months of the year, big preperation area, no beach/launching fees, friendly people and a cool hut with most of what a kiter needs to chill out,relax & have a good vacation.
